Some signs that there is at least one buck in the area
I always wondered how well camouflaged I was, so I finally had Corey come out to the
blind with me and take this picture. Here I am in one of my blinds. If you look real close
you can see my head and my bow held upright next to my head. I always try to find natural
blind so that I don't have to disrupt any of the area that I believe to be frequented by my
next trophy buck. This takes a lot of scouting to find such a place located downwind, and
within shooting range of a runway, scrape, or feeding area. I have spent plenty of time in
the woods this year and currently have a half dozen such places that I use. I also, always
stay on the ground. I know some people see this as a disadvantage but I had success with it
in the past and am confident that I can remain motionles enough to nail that big one again.
Actually, since we took this picture, I have seen several deer from here and it appears they
connot see me. I will save the details for know, but check back soon and I will be telling of
another successful hunting experience.
